Kaela is a writer and speaker with an MA in English and Creative Writing. She has spent most of her career working in behavioral health promotion and prevention communications. She has an eye for a story and values the people and perspectives involved. She is actively working on her own personal decolonization and works to use her privilege to elevate the voices and perspectives of the historically marginalized.
In her spare time, she plays guitar, meditates, writes, hikes, and tries to remember to water her plants. She lives in Lakewood, CO with her daughter, her partner, and their dogs, Harley and Luma.
