take me with you

go home.
pull the dark soil over your head
and sink deeply into the cool abyss.
clasp hands with the roots
and let them pull you deeper
into the heart of creation
where the sun is a whispered memory
and each heartbeat is a symphony.
instead of a birdsong, take the slow rhythm
of the creatures of decay
sending new life
(and hope)
to a surface they’ll never see.
go into the viscera of the mountain,
watch water build temples
and stones become portals.
even here in the dark, you burn,
proving there’s little difference
between being buried and unburdened.

-take me with you
